The Nixon-Smiley Mustangs volleyball team (Nixon, TX), went down 3-1 in Friday's league challenge with the host Cole Cougars (San Antonio, TX)
The Cougars (15-15) will now prepare for their challenge against Great Hearts Northern Oaks (San Antonio, TX). The Griffins enter the 3A Region IV District 26 challenge with a 11-6 record. In their last challenge, Great Hearts Northern Oaks defeated Luling (Luling, TX), 3-1, in a league challenge.
Next, the Mustangs encounter the Great Hearts Monte Vista (San Antonio, TX) in a 3A Region IV District 26 challenge, on Tuesday, October 11. Nixon-Smiley will attempt to move on its 9-14 season record.
