The Franklin Cougars volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the visiting Montwood Rams to 1 in the Cougars league victory on Friday.

The Cougars now possess a 28-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Eastlake for a 6A Region I District 1 game on Friday, October 14.

The Rams (19-7) will now prepare for their game against Franklin (Franklin, TX). The Lions enter the non-league game with a 14-7 record. In their last game, Franklin defeated Westwood (Palestine, TX), 3-0, in a league game.
