The Sanford-Fritch Eagles volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the visiting Vega Longhorns to 0 in the Eagles league victory on Friday.

The Eagles now have a 5-12 record. They put it on the line next when they host Shamrock for a non-league game on Tuesday, October 11.

The Longhorns (8-19) will now prepare for their game against West Texas (Stinnett, TX). The Comanches enter the 2A Region I District 1 game with a 13-14 record. In their last game, West Texas gained a win over Memphis (Memphis, TX), 3-1, in a league game.
