The Vega Longhorns volleyball team (Vega, TX), went down 3-1 in Tuesday's league challenge with the visiting Sanford-Fritch Eagles (Fritch, TX)

The Eagles (2-10) will now prepare for their challenge against Shamrock (Shamrock, TX). The Irish come into the non-league challenge with a 0-2 record.

Next, the Longhorns encounter the West Texas Comanches (Stinnett, TX) in a 2A Region I District 1 challenge, on Saturday, September 24. Vega will attempt to move on its 7-15 season record. The Comanches come into the challenge with a 7-12 record after their 3-0 league win over Memphis (Memphis, TX).
