The Independence Patriots volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the visiting WestSide Renegades to 0 in the Patriots non-league victory on Saturday.

The Patriots now possess a 19-13 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Liberty for a non-league game on Saturday, October 7. Independence will meet a Raiders team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Hoover (Clendenin, WV). The Raiders record now stands at 10-15.

The Renegades (0-16) will now prepare for their game against Wyoming East (New Richmond, WV). The Warriors enter the non-league game with a 20-7 record. In their last game, Wyoming East defeated Mingo Central (Matewan, WV), 2-1, in a non-league battle.
