The WestSide Renegades volleyball team (Clear Fork, WV), was dropped 2-0 in Thursday's league challenge with the host Independence Patriots (Coal City, WV)

The Patriots (13-9) will now prepare for their challenge against George Washington (Charleston, WV). The Patriots enter the non-league challenge with a 14-4 record. In their last challenge, George Washington defeated Capital (Charleston, WV), 2-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Renegades meet the Bluefield Beavers (Bluefield, WV) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, September 21. WestSide will attempt to move on its 0-12 season record. The Beavers enter the challenge with a 1-13 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Montcalm (Montcalm, WV).
