In Saturday's non-league battle, the host Peninsula Panthers volleyball team scored a 3-1 triumph over the Narbonne Gauchos.
The Panthers (13-16) will now prepare for their battle against Bellflower (Bellflower, CA). The Buccaneers come into the non-league battle with a 6-16 record. In their last battle, Bellflower achieved victory over Dominguez (Compton, CA), 3-0, in a league battle.
Next, the Gauchos encounter the Banning Pilots (Wilmington, CA) in a Marine battle, on Monday, October 9. Narbonne will attempt to advance on its 6-11 season record. The Pilots come into the battle with a 9-17 record after their 3-2 non-league loss to Peninsula (Rolling Hills Estates, CA).
