The Trojans now hold a 5-4 record. They play next when they travel to North Wilkes for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, October 9. Alleghany will encounter a Vikings squad coming off a 1-0 league win over East Surry (Pilot Mountain, NC). The Vikings record now stands at 4-9.

With the loss, South Stokes moves to 5-9 on the year. The Sauras travel to Mount Airy (Mount Airy, NC) to encounter the Granite Bears in a Northwest 1A challenge on Wednesday, October 9. The Granite Bears go into the challenge with a record of 8-2. Mount Airy won 10-1 in their recent league challenge against East Wilkes (Ronda, NC)
