Fans at Monday's league battle between the East Bladen Eagles (Elizabethtown, NC) and the visiting South Columbus Stallions (Tabor City, NC), saw East Bladen's soccer squad knock off South Columbus by a count of 3-0.

The Eagles (7-4) will now prepare for their battle against East Columbus (Lake Waccamaw, NC). The Gators enter the Waccamaw 1A/2A battle with a 1-8 record. In their last battle, East Columbus by Pender (Burgaw, NC), 3-0, in a league battle.

Next up, the Stallions battle the Pender Patriots (Burgaw, NC) in a Waccamaw 1A/2A battle, on Wednesday, October 9. South Columbus will attempt to upgrade on its 2-11 season record. The Patriots enter the battle with a 12-4 record after their 3-0 league win over East Columbus (Lake Waccamaw, NC).
