The East Bladen Eagles (Elizabethtown, NC) soccer nipped the host South Columbus Stallions (Tabor City, NC), 1-0 in Wednesday's league challenge.
The Eagles now hold a 3-4 record. They play next when they travel to East Columbus for a Waccamaw 1A/2A challenge on Monday, September 16. East Bladen will encounter a Gators squad coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Purnell Swett (Pembroke, NC). The Gators record now stands at 0-5.
With the loss, South Columbus moves to 0-8 on the year. The Stallions travel to Pender (Burgaw, NC) to encounter the Patriots in a Waccamaw 1A/2A challenge on Monday, September 16.
