Pender Patriots (Burgaw, NC) boosters exited the stadium pleased Monday as they witnessed their soccer team knock off the host East Columbus Gators (Lake Waccamaw, NC), 3-0 in a league test.

With the triumph, Pender moves its record to 12-4 on the campaign. The Patriots travel to South Columbus (Tabor City, NC) to clash with the Stallions in a Waccamaw 1A/2A test on Wednesday, October 9. The Stallions come into the test with a record of 2-11. South Columbus lost 3-0 in their recent league test against East Bladen (Elizabethtown, NC)

The Gators now sport a 1-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to East Bladen for a Waccamaw 1A/2A test on Wednesday, October 9. East Columbus will clash with a Eagles team coming off a 3-0 league win over South Columbus (Tabor City, NC). The Eagles record now stands at 7-4.
