Fans at Monday's league battle between the Shippensburg Greyhounds (Shippensburg, PA) and the visiting West Perry Mustangs (Elliottsburg, PA), saw Shippensburg's soccer squad prevail over West Perry by a count of 5-1.

The Greyhounds (13-2) will now prepare for their battle against Boiling Springs (Boiling Springs, PA). The Bubblers enter the Mid-Penn - Colonial battle with a 11-4 record. In their last battle, Boiling Springs tipped James Buchanan (Mercersburg, PA), 7-0, in a league battle.

Next up, the Mustangs battle the Waynesboro Indians (Waynesboro, PA) in a non-league battle, on Wednesday, October 9. West Perry will attempt to upgrade on its 9-6 season record. The Indians enter the battle with a 6-8 record after their 1-0 league win over Mifflin County (Lewistown, PA).
