Virginia High School Volleyball - McLean George C. Marshall

George C. Marshall Statesmen (Falls Church, VA) backers were pleased Tuesday as they witnessed their volleyball team overcome the visiting McLean Highlanders (McLean, VA), 3-1 in a league challenge.

The Statesmen (11-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Meridian (Falls Church, VA). The Mustangs come into the non-league challenge with a 3-12 record. In their last challenge, Meridian was beaten by Herndon (Herndon, VA), 3-0, in a non-league test.

The Highlanders now sport a 9-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Westfield for a non-league test on Thursday, October 9. McLean will face a Bulldogs squad coming off a 3-1 league win over Chantilly (Chantilly, VA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 5-6.
