In Tuesday's non-league match, the Starmount Rams (Boonville, NC) volleyball squad tipped the visiting Wilkes Central Eagles (Wilkesboro, NC), by a count of 2-1.
Next up, the Rams battle the Ashe County Huskies (West Jefferson, NC) in a non-league match, on Thursday, October 9. Starmount will attempt to improve on its 13-6 season record. The Huskies go into the battle with a 12-7 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to West Wilkes (Millers Creek, NC).
The Eagles now own a 5-16 record. They put it on the line next when they host East Wilkes for a non-league battle on Thursday, October 9. Wilkes Central will encounter a Cardinals squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Elkin (Elkin, NC). The Cardinals record now stands at 6-13.
