Marquette Manor Baptist Academy Minutemen (Downers Grove, IL) boosters went home in high spirits Tuesday as they observed their soccer squad nudge the visiting Chesterton Academy of the Holy Family (Downers Grove, IL), 3-2 in a non-league outing.
The Minutemen (11-1) will now prepare for their outing against Faith Bible Christian Academy/Mid-America Prep (Rosamond, IL). The Frank go into the Illinois Association of Christian Schools outing with a 1-1 record. In their last outing, Faith Bible Christian Academy/Mid-America Prep was edged by Arthur-Okaw Christian (Arthur, IL), 8-0, in a non-league outing.
Next up, the confront the Harvest-Westminster Warrior-Lions (Elgin, IL) in a non-league test, on Wednesday, October 8. Chesterton Academy of the Holy Family will attempt to advance on its 3-9 season record. The Warrior-Lions come into the test with a 17-3 record after their 1-0 league win over Westlake Christian Academy (Grayslake, IL).
