In Thursday's non-league outing, the host Marquette Manor Baptist Academy Minutemen soccer squad scored a tight 7-0 victory over the Chesterton Academy of the Holy Family .
The Minutemen (8-1) will now prepare for their outing against Logos Christian Academy (Niles, IL). The Lions go into the Illinois Association of Christian Schools outing with a 0-2 record. In their last outing, Logos Christian Academy was overwhelmed by First Baptist Christian (Danville, IL), 4-3, in a non-league outing.
Next up, the play the Westmont Sentinels (Westmont, IL) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, September 23. Chesterton Academy of the Holy Family will attempt to advance on its 2-5 season record. The Sentinels come into the game with a 5-6 record after their 3-0 league win over Rochelle Zell Jewish (Deerfield, IL).
