The Prairie View Thunderhawks softball squad (Henderson, CO), was routed 14-5 in Tuesday's league contest with the host Brighton Bulldogs (Brighton, CO)

With the triumph, Brighton improves its record to 14-7 on the year. The Bulldogs host Riverdale Ridge (Thornton, CO) to face the Ravens in a 5A/4A Rocky Mountain contest on Thursday, October 9. The Ravens enter the contest with a record of 16-6. Riverdale Ridge won 15-5 in their recent league contest against Westminster (Westminster, CO)

The Thunderhawks now hold a 9-13 record. They play next when they host Mountain Range for a 5A/4A Rocky Mountain contest on Thursday, October 9. Prairie View will face a Mustangs squad coming off a 6-4 league loss to Northglenn (Northglenn, CO). The Mustangs record now stands at 8-13.
