Model Blue Devils (Rome, GA) fans went home satisfied Tuesday as they witnessed their softball team tip the host Chattooga Indians (Summerville, GA), 11-5 in a non-league battle.

The Blue Devils now possess a 17-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Haralson County for a 1A D-I Region 6 battle on Wednesday, October 8. Model will confront a Rebels team coming off a 4-3 non-league loss to Calvary Christian (Columbus, GA). The Rebels record now stands at 12-12.

The Indians (11-10) will now prepare for their challenge against Ridgeland (Rossville, GA). The Panthers enter the non-league challenge with a 11-15 record. In their last challenge, Ridgeland was routed by Armuchee (Rome, GA), 10-7, in a non-league challenge.
