The Model Blue Devils softball team scored 6 runs and held the visiting Chattooga Indians to 5 in the Blue Devils non-league win on Wednesday.

The Blue Devils now possess a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Fannin County for a non-league battle on Thursday, August 7.

With the loss, Chattooga moves to 1-1 on the season. The Indians host Gilmer (Ellijay, GA) to confront the Bobcats in a non-league battle on Saturday, August 9. The Bobcats come into the battle with a record of 2-1. Gilmer lost 6-5 in their recent non-league battle against Coahulla Creek (Dalton, GA)
