The Long County Blue Tide softball team scored 16 runs and held the visiting Jenkins Warriors to 0 in the Blue Tide league win on Tuesday.

The Blue Tide now sport a 24-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Camden County for a non-league outing on Wednesday, October 8. Long County will encounter a Wildcats team coming off a 12-4 non-league win over Charlton County (Folkston, GA). The Wildcats record now stands at 14-14.

With the loss, Jenkins moves to 3-21 on the season.
