In Tuesday's league challenge, the host American Eagles volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Irvington Vikings.

The Eagles (10-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Mission San Jose (Fremont, CA). The Warriors come into the Mission Valley challenge with a 16-7 record. In their last challenge, Mission San Jose beat Kennedy (Fremont, CA), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next up, the Vikings face the James Logan Colts (Union City, CA) in a Mission Valley game, on Thursday, October 9. Irvington will attempt to advance on its 4-10 season record. The Colts go into the game with a 17-6 record after their 3-0 league win over Newark Memorial (Newark, CA).
