Colorado High School Volleyball - Montezuma-Cortez Bayfield

Bayfield Wolverines (Bayfield, CO) boosters left the game satisfied Tuesday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Montezuma-Cortez Panthers (Cortez, CO), 3-1 in a league test.

With the win, Bayfield improves its record to 11-5 on the season. The Wolverines host Pagosa Springs (Pagosa Springs, CO) to face the Pirates in a 3A Intermountain test on Tuesday, October 14. The Pirates go into the test with a record of 2-13. Pagosa Springs lost 3-0 in their recent non-league test against Durango (Durango, CO)

The Panthers now own a 11-8 record. They play next when they travel to Centauri for a 3A Intermountain challenge on Friday, October 10. Montezuma-Cortez will play a Falcons team coming off a 3-1 league loss to Alamosa (Alamosa, CO). The Falcons record now stands at 11-5.
