The Buckhorn Wildcats volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the visiting Jackson City Tigers to 2 in the Wildcats non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Wildcats now possess a 5-21 record. They play next when they travel to Perry County Central for a District 54 outing on Wednesday, October 8. Buckhorn will play a Commodores team coming off a 3-1 non-league loss to Wolfe County (Campton, KY). The Commodores record now stands at 7-18.
With the loss, Jackson City drops to 8-13 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Cordia (Hazard, KY) to confront the Lions in a non-league game on Wednesday, October 8. The Lions enter the game with a record of 0-4.
