The Blue Devils (32-6) will now prepare for their contest against Huntington (Huntington, TX). The Red Devils enter the 3A Region III District 21 contest with a 25-15 record. In their last contest, Huntington notched a victory over Woodville (Woodville, TX), 3-2, in a league contest.

Next, the Lumberjacks meet the Warren Warriors (Warren, TX) in a 3A Region III District 21 challenge, on Friday, October 10. Diboll will attempt to upgrade on its 12-10 season record. The Warriors enter the challenge with a 21-10 record after their 3-0 league win over Newton (Newton, TX).
