West Virginia High School Volleyball - Notre Dame over Fairmont Senior

In Tuesday's non-league challenge, the visiting Notre Dame Fighting Irish volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Fairmont Senior Polar Bears.

The Fighting Irish (6-13) will now prepare for their challenge against Tygarts Valley (Mill Creek, WV). The Bulldogs go into the non-league test with a 0-9 record. In their last test, Tygarts Valley was defeated by Pendleton County (Franklin, WV), 3-0, in a league test.

The Polar Bears now own a 7-16 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lincoln for a non-league test on Thursday, October 9. Fairmont Senior will face a Cougars squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Grafton (Grafton, WV). The Cougars record now stands at 4-10.
