In Tuesday's league challenge, the visiting Liberty Patriots volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Levelland Lobos.

The Patriots (35-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Big Spring (Big Spring, TX). The Steers come into the 4A Region I District 5 challenge with a 13-15 record. In their last challenge, Big Spring beat Lake View (San Angelo, TX), 3-2, in a league test.

The Lobos now sport a 10-18 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Snyder for a 4A Region I District 5 test on Saturday, October 11. Levelland will face a Tigers squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Frenship Memorial (Lubbock, TX). The Tigers record now stands at 11-18.
