The Varsity Opponent prevailed the visiting Pensacola Area Homeschool Phoenix volleyball squad by a final score of 3-0 in Tuesday's league game.
Next up, the confront the Reimer Road Baptist Christian Golden Eagles (Wadsworth, OH) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, October 7. Varsity Opponent will attempt to advance on its 217-551 season record.

Match Summary
Our Phoenix girls had a strong start in the Varsity match but were unable to keep pace with AGCSV after the 1st set. Despite having a sky-high 95% serving ratio in the match, the fact that our serve receive success plummeted to 61% doomed us. Coach, along with team captain Elliana O'Neill, tried to rally the troops, but facing better hitting and stronger serving from a fresh team, we ultimately added struggles with communication, getting to the ball and passing errors to our faltering serve receive and could not get back into the game.
