The Shepard Astros topped the host Thornton Fractional North Meteors volleyball squad by a final score of 2-0 in Tuesday's league game.

Next up, the Astros confront the Evergreen Park Mustangs (Evergreen Park, IL) in a South Suburban outing, on Thursday, October 9. Shepard will attempt to better on its 14-7 season record. The Mustangs come into the outing with a 17-9 record after their 2-0 league win over Argo (Summit, IL).

The Meteors (13-16) will now prepare for their bout against Hillcrest (Country Club Hills, IL). The Hawks come into the South Suburban bout with a 1-14 record. In their last bout, Hillcrest fell by Bremen (Midlothian, IL), 2-0, in a league bout.
