North Carolina High School Volleyball - Wilkes Central crushed by Starmount

The Starmount Rams were victorious over the visiting Wilkes Central Eagles volleyball team by a margin of 3-0 in Tuesday's league bout.

The Rams now possess a 12-9 record. They play next when they travel to Ashe County for a Mountain Valley 2A/3A/4A bout on Thursday, October 9. Starmount will clash with a Huskies team coming off a 3-0 league win over West Wilkes (Millers Creek, NC). The Huskies record now stands at 21-7.

With the defeat, Wilkes Central falls to 7-14 on the year. The Eagles host East Wilkes (Ronda, NC) to confront the Cardinals in a Mountain Valley 2A/3A/4A match on Thursday, October 9. The Cardinals enter the match with a record of 6-15. East Wilkes won 3-2 in their recent league match against Elkin (Elkin, NC)
