The West Mesa Mustangs volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the host Farmington Scorpions to 0 in the Mustangs non-league victory on Saturday.
The Mustangs now possess a 6-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Piedra Vista for a non-league game on Tuesday, October 11. West Mesa will meet a Panthers team coming off a 2-0 league loss to La Cueva (Albuquerque, NM). The Panthers record now stands at 3-2.
The Scorpions (10-12) will now prepare for their game against Eldorado (Albuquerque, NM). The Golden Eagles enter the non-league game with a 3-5 record. In their last game, Eldorado was dropped by Sandia (Albuquerque, NM), 2-1, in a non-league game.
