The North Stanly Comets topped the host Albemarle Bulldogs volleyball squad by a final score of 2-0 in Tuesday's non-league game.
Next up, the Comets face the Gray Stone Day Knights (Misenheimer, NC) in a non-league game, on Thursday, October 10. North Stanly will attempt to advance on its 9-7 season record. The Knights go into the game with a 13-5 record after their 2-0 non-league win over South Stanly (Norwood, NC).
The Bulldogs (0-14) will now prepare for their game against Union Academy (Monroe, NC). The Cardinals go into the non-league game with a 7-10 record. In their last game, Union Academy gained a win over Mount Pleasant (Mt. Pleasant, NC), 2-0, in a league game.
