The Hilltoppers (3-7) will now prepare for their contest against Brookville (Lynchburg, VA). The Bees enter the non-league contest with a 12-1 record. In their last contest, Brookville notched a victory over Liberty (Bedford, VA), 2-0, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Lancers battle the Heritage Pioneers (Lynchburg, VA) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, October 10. Amherst County will attempt to move on its 4-10 season record. The Pioneers enter the contest with a 1-13 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Nelson County (Lovingston, VA).
