The crowd at Tuesday's league bout between the River Ridge Knights (Woodstock, GA) and the host Riverwood Raiders (Sandy Springs, GA), observed River Ridge's softball team get by Riverwood by a tally of 4-0.

The Knights (11-12) will now prepare for their bout against Lassiter (Marietta, GA). The Trojans go into the 5A Region 6 bout with a 18-4 record. In their last bout, Lassiter tipped Sprayberry (Marietta, GA), 7-0, in a league bout.

In their next game, the Raiders battle the Kell Longhorns (Marietta, GA) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, October 9. Riverwood will attempt to advance on its 11-13 season record. The Longhorns go into the bout with a 21-4 record after their 1-0 non-league win over Hillgrove (Powder Springs, GA).
