New Mexico High School Volleyball - Sandia overwhelmed by La Cueva

The La Cueva Bears topped the visiting Sandia Matadors volleyball squad by a final score of 3-0 in Tuesday's league game.

Next up, the Bears face the Eldorado Golden Eagles (Albuquerque, NM) in a 5A District 2 game, on Thursday, October 10. La Cueva will attempt to advance on its 10-3 season record. The Golden Eagles go into the game with a 8-6 record after their 3-1 league loss to Manzano (Albuquerque, NM).

The Matadors (3-11) will now prepare for their game against Capital (Santa Fe, NM). The Jaguars go into the 5A District 2 game with a 7-7 record. In their last game, Capital went down by Santa Fe (Santa Fe, NM), 3-0, in a league game.
