Pitman Pride (Turlock, CA) boosters were content Wednesday as they observed their flag football squad smash the host Downey Knights (Modesto, CA), 37-0 in a league match.

The Pride (12-3) will now prepare for their match against Enochs (Modesto, CA). The Eagles come into the Central California Athletic League match with a 5-18 record. In their last match, Enochs was routed by Gregori (Modesto, CA), 32-7, in a league battle.

The Knights now have a 2-15 record. They play next when they travel to Turlock for a Central California Athletic League battle on Monday, October 13. Downey will play a Bulldogs team coming off a 26-7 league win over Modesto (Modesto, CA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 12-6.
