Pitman Pride (Turlock, CA) fans went home in high spirits Wednesday as they saw their flag football team achieve victory over the host Downey Knights (Modesto, CA), 20-7 in a league battle.

With the win, Pitman improves its record to 3-1 on the season. The Pride travel to Enochs (Modesto, CA) to play the Eagles in a Central California Athletic League battle on Monday, September 8. The Eagles go into the battle with a record of 2-6. Enochs lost 21-0 in their recent non-league battle against Kimball (Tracy, CA)

Coming up next, the Knights meet the Buhach Colony Thunder (Atwater, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, September 6. Downey will attempt to improve on its 1-4 season record. The Thunder go into the challenge with a 6-1 record after their 26-12 non-league loss to Central Catholic (Modesto, CA).
