California High School Flag Football - Monta Vista defeats Homestead

Monta Vista Matadors (Cupertino, CA) followers went home in high spirits Wednesday as they saw their flag football team achieve victory over the visiting Homestead Mustangs (Cupertino, CA), 38-18 in a league battle.

With the win, Monta Vista upgrades its record to 8-6 on the campaign. The Matadors host Palo Alto (Palo Alto, CA) to confront the Vikings in a match on Monday, October 13. The Vikings come into the match with a record of 12-1. Palo Alto won 41-0 in their recent non-league match against Wilcox (Santa Clara, CA)

Coming up next, the Mustangs confront the Lynbrook Vikings (San Jose, CA) in a battle, on Monday, October 13. Homestead will attempt to improve on its 6-8 season record.
