Washington, DC High School Soccer - Washington Latin Public Charter School knocks off Avalon

The Washington Latin Public Charter School Lions (Washington, DC) soccer overwhelmed the visiting Avalon Black Knights (Wheaton, MD), 6-2 in Wednesday's non-league challenge.
The Lions now hold a 9-1 record. They play next when they host Capital City Public Charter School for a PCSAA challenge on Thursday, October 9. Washington Latin Public Charter School will encounter a EAGLES squad coming off a 5-0 league win over Paul Public Charter International (Washington, DC). The EAGLES record now stands at 6-1.
With the loss, Avalon moves to 0-6 on the year. The Black knights host Field (Washington, DC) to battle the Falcons in a non-league contest on Friday, October 17. The Falcons enter the contest with a record of 1-8.
