The Minico Spartans prevailed the host Jerome Tigers volleyball team by a margin of 3-1 in Wednesday's league bout.

The Spartans now possess a 14-11 record. They play next when they host Pocatello for a non-league bout on Thursday, October 9. Minico will clash with a Thunder team coming off a 3-1 non-league loss to Rocky Mountain (Meridian, ID). The Thunder record now stands at 18-13.

With the loss, Jerome drops to 5-15 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Wood River (Hailey, ID) to clash with the Wolverines in a 5A Great Basin bout on Monday, October 13. The Wolverines come into the bout with a record of 13-12.
