The Minico Spartans volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the visiting Jerome Tigers to 0 in the Spartans league triumph on Wednesday.
The Spartans now have a 6-5 record. They play next when they travel to Malad for a non-league outing on Friday, September 19. Minico will face a Dragons squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Declo (Declo, ID). The Dragons record now stands at 14-4.
The Tigers (3-12) will now prepare for their game against Wood River (Hailey, ID). The Wolverines go into the 5A Great Basin game with a 8-11 record. In their last game, Wood River gained a win over Mountain Home (Mountain Home, ID), 3-0, in a league game.
