The Amherst County Lancers volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the visiting Parry McCluer Fighting Blues to 0 in the Lancers non-league victory on Monday.
The Lancers now have a 6-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Brookville for a Seminole game on Tuesday, October 10. Amherst County will meet a Bees team coming off a 3-1 league win over Glass (Lynchburg, VA). The Bees record now stands at 14-2.
The Fighting Blues (5-11) will now prepare for their game against Highland (Monterey, VA). The Rams enter the non-league game with a 1-7 record. In their last game, Highland dropped by Narrows (Narrows, VA), 2-0, in a non-league game.
