Kentucky High School Volleyball - Belfry can't hold off Betsy Layne

In Monday's non-league battle, the visiting Betsy Layne Bobcats volleyball team scored a tight 3-2 triumph over the Belfry Pirates.
The Bobcats (9-15) will now prepare for their battle against Magoffin County (Salyersville, KY). The Hornets come into the non-league battle with a 5-18 record. In their last battle, Magoffin County nudged Morgan County (West Liberty, KY), 3-0, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Pirates encounter the Pike County Central Hawks (Pikeville, KY) in a District 60 battle, on Tuesday, October 10. Belfry will attempt to advance on its 10-10 season record. The Hawks come into the battle with a 10-16 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Johnson Central (Paintsville, KY).
