The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 10-7. Murphy won 3-0 in their recent league bout against Andrews (Andrews, NC)

The Eagles now own a 6-13 record. They play next when they travel to Nantahala for a Little Smoky Mountain 1A bout on Tuesday, October 10. Hiwassee Dam will play a Hawks squad coming off a 3-2 league loss to Blue Ridge Early College (Cashiers, NC). The Hawks record now stands at 0-12.
