The Hawks (8-5) will now prepare for their battle against Piedra Vista (Farmington, NM). The Panthers enter the 5A District 1 battle with a 10-5 record. In their last battle, Piedra Vista tipped Farmington (Farmington, NM), 4-1, in a league battle.

Next up, the Cougars battle the Highland Hornets (Albuquerque, NM) in a non-league battle, on Thursday, October 10. Cibola will attempt to upgrade on its 2-12 season record. The Hornets enter the battle with a 7-7 record after their 3-0 league loss to St. Pius X (Albuquerque, NM).
