Fans at Wednesday's league contest between the East Carter Raiders (Grayson, KY) and the visiting Morgan County Cougars (West Liberty, KY), observed East Carter's volleyball team top Morgan County by a tally of 3-0.

The Raiders (10-10) will now prepare for their contest against Raceland (Raceland, KY). The Rams enter the non-league contest with a 17-13 record. In their last contest, Raceland beat Lewis County (Vanceburg, KY), 3-0, in a league contest.

Next, the Cougars meet the Breathitt County Bobcats (Jackson, KY) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, October 10. Morgan County will attempt to upgrade on its 4-14 season record. The Bobcats enter the contest with a 12-6 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Perry County Central (Hazard, KY).
