Fans at Thursday's league contest between the East Carter Raiders (Grayson, KY) and the host Morgan County Cougars (West Liberty, KY), observed East Carter's volleyball team top Morgan County by a tally of 3-0.

The Raiders (7-5) will now prepare for their contest against Blazer (Ashland, KY). The Tomcats enter the non-league contest with a 8-0 record.

Next, the Cougars meet the Fairview Eagles (Ashland, KY) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, September 7. Morgan County will attempt to upgrade on its 1-7 season record. The Eagles enter the contest with a 4-7 record after their 3-2 non-league win over Rock Hill (Ironton, OH).
