In Thursday's league challenge, the host James River Midlothian Rapids volleyball team scored a 3-0 victory over the Manchester Lancers.
The Rapids (10-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Glen Allen (Glen Allen, VA). The Jaguars enter the non-league challenge with a 13-0 record. In their last test, Glen Allen achieved victory over Hermitage (Richmond, VA), 3-0, in a league test.
The Lancers now own a 10-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to L.C. Bird for a Dominion outing on Tuesday, October 14.
