The Chincoteague Ponies topped the visiting Arcadia Firebirds volleyball squad by a final score of 3-1 in Thursday's league outing.

The Ponies now possess a 4-12 record. They play next when they host Worcester Prep for a non-league outing on Tuesday, October 14. Chincoteague will play a Mallards team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Salisbury Christian (Salisbury, MD). The Mallards record now stands at 2-8.

With the loss, Arcadia drops to 0-12 on the campaign. The Firebirds travel to Randolph-Henry (Charlotte Court House, VA) to play the Statesmen in a non-league outing on Monday, October 20. The Statesmen come into the outing with a record of 4-9.
