Fans at Tuesday's league contest between the Chincoteague Ponies (Chincoteague, VA) and the host Arcadia Firebirds (Oak Hall, VA), observed Chincoteague's volleyball team top Arcadia by a count of 3-1.

The Ponies (2-10) will now prepare for their contest against Nandua (Onley, VA). The Warriors enter the Eastern Shore contest with a 0-8 record. In their last contest, Nandua dropped by Northampton (Eastville, VA), 3-0, in a league battle.

The Firebirds now own a 0-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Northampton for a Eastern Shore battle on Thursday, October 2. Arcadia will encounter a Yellowjackets squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Nandua (Onley, VA). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 4-4.
