In Thursday's league test, the host Archbishop Mitty Monarchs volleyball squad scored a 3-0 win over the Archbishop Riordan Crusaders.

With the win, Archbishop Mitty advances its record to 23-3 on the season. The Monarchs travel to Saint Francis (Mountain View, CA) to play the Lancers in a West Catholic challenge on Tuesday, October 14. The Lancers come into the challenge with a record of 15-8. Saint Francis won 3-0 in their recent league challenge against Archbishop Riordan (San Francisco, CA)

Next up, the Crusaders face the Heritage Patriots (Brentwood, CA) in a non-league game, on Saturday, October 11. Archbishop Riordan will attempt to advance on its 8-8 season record. The Patriots go into the game with a 13-5 record after their 3-0 league win over Freedom (Oakley, CA).
